74VHC595MTCX is an 8-bit high-speed CMOS shift register with output latch. It is manufactured using silicon gate CMOS technology. It achieves high-speed operation similar to the equivalent bipolar Schottky TTL while maintaining CMOS low power consumption. The device contains an 8-bit serial input parallel output shift register, which supplies power to the 8-bit D-type storage register. The storage register has 8 3-STATE outputs. Provide separate clocks for shift registers and storage registers. The shift register has direct overwrite clear, serial input, and serial output pins for cascading. Both the shift register and the storage register use positive edge-triggered clocks. If the two clocks are connected together, the state of the shift register will always be one clock pulse ahead of the storage register.
