The DW01's ultra-small package and fewer external component requirements make it ideal for integrating the DW01 into the limited space of a battery pack. They are designed to protect DW01 Li-Ion/Polymer batteries from damage or shortened life due to overcharging, over-discharging, and / or over-current in single-cell Li-Ion/Polymer battery-powered systems such as cell phones. Its accurate ±50mV overcharge detection voltage ensures safe and fully utilized charging. In addition, a very low standby current draws very little from the battery while in storage.
