ADUM1402ARWZ-RL is a four-channel digital isolator based on Analog Devices, Inc. iCoupler® technology located on the Antminer D7 hash board. Combining high-speed CMOS and monolithic air-core transformer technologies, this isolation component offers superior performance characteristics over alternatives. The isolator chip operates from 2.7 V to 5.5 V, providing compatibility with lower voltage systems and enabling voltage translation across the isolation barrier. Additionally, the ADUM1402ARWZ-RL features low pulse width distortion (<2 ns for CRW stage) and tight channel-to-channel matching (<2 ns for CRW stage). Unlike other optocoupler alternatives, the ADUM1402ARWZ-RL isolator features a patented refresh feature that ensures DC correctness when no input logic transitions and power is not applied to one of the supplies.
