The FAN3224 family of dual 4 A gate driver is designed to drive N-channel enhancement-mode MOSFETs in low-side switching applications by providing high peak current pulses during short switching intervals. Internal circuitry provides under voltage lockout by holding the output low until the supply voltage is within operating range.
The FAN3224 provides two non-inverting drivers. Each device has two independent enable pins, which default to ON if not connected. If one or both inputs are left unconnected, internal resistors bias the inputs, pulling the outputs low to keep the power MOSFETs off.
