BM1680 ASIC chip is used to replace the faulty chip of the Antminer B3 hash board. Each B3 hash board consists of 4 BM1680 chips from Bitmain. The BM1680 is capable of performing network inference and network training simultaneously. The BM1680 can deliver up to 2 TFLOPS (SP) with a typical power consumption of 25 W and a peak power of 41 W. The BM1680 is manufactured using TSMC's 28HPC+ process, capable of performing 80 billion algorithm operations per second. Bitmain claims that the chip is designed for inference and the training of neural networks, suitable for common ANNs such as CNN, RNN, and DNN.
