The OB2268CP is a highly integrated current mode PWM control IC on Whatsminer P222B power supplies, optimized for high performance, low standby power consumption, and cost-effective offline flyback converter applications above 20W power class.
VDD's low start-up current and low operating current help to use OB2268CP for reliable start-up design. Therefore, large-value resistors can be used in the start-up circuit to minimize standby power consumption. In addition, internal slope compensation improves system large-signal stability and reduces sub-harmonic oscillations at high PWM duty cycle outputs.
OB2268CP provides a complete protection range and automatic self-recovery functions, including cycle-by-cycle current limit (OCP), overload protection (OLP), over-temperature protection (OTP), VDD over-voltage protection (OVP) and under-voltage lockout (UVLO). In addition, the gate drive output is clamped to a maximum of 18V to protect the power MOSFETs.
