The TPS40322 device is a dual-output synchronous buck controller on A10 hash board. It can be configured as a single-output, two-phase controller. 180° out-of-phase operation reduces input current ripple and extends input capacitor life. Its wide input range supports 3.3V, 5V, and 12V. An accurate voltage reference meets the precision voltage required by Asics and potentially reduces output capacitance requirements. A separate PGOOD signal provides flexibility for system monitoring and sequencing. Voltage mode control is implemented to reduce noise sensitivity and ensure low-duty cycle conversions.
