This kit is standard for upgrading T17e ordinary heat sinks to upgraded heat sinks. The kit includes tin removal steel mesh, thermal paste template, nut positioning plate, 7*7 screw tin tool, tin scraper, and other common tools. By modifying and upgrading the heat sink, the maintenance cost of the T17e hash board heat sink falling off can be effectively reduced, allowing T17e miners to obtain more stable performance and improve mining efficiency and profitability.
How to use the kit:
1. Use a heat gun to remove the heat sink of the original hash board, and keep it cool when heating to avoid damage to the hash board during the disassembly process.
2. Remove excess solder on the surface of the chip with a chip-grinding tin stencil;
3. Use an Anti-static brush kit to remove excess dust on the chip;
4. Use a circuit board cleaning solution to clean the excess solder on the chip.
5. Fix the tinned nut (with the small hole facing down) on the nut fixing jig, then mix it evenly with a tin scraper. After the tinning, you can easily take out the tinned nut with tweezers. Then, solder the nuts to the hash board, and keep them cool when heating to avoid damage to the hash board or soldering tin by auto-machine.
6. Place the upgraded heat sink on the special thermal grease mold, and then use a solder paste squeegee to evenly spread thermal grease on the corresponding holes, and then install the upgraded heat sink coated with silicone grease on the hash board, and then put the screw into the hole of the heat sink, and then fix it with an electric screwdriver.
At this point, the installation of the upgrade heat sink is completed.
