OB2276 is a highly integrated current mode PWM control IC on Whatsminer P222B power supply, which is optimized for high performance, low standby power consumption, and cost-effective offline flyback converter application. The PWM switching frequency during normal operation is internally fixed and adjusted to a small range. Under no-load or light-load conditions, the IC operates in extended "burst mode" to minimize switching losses. This results in lower standby power and higher conversion efficiency.
The OB2276 offers a full range of protection and auto-recovery features, including cycle-by-cycle current limiting (OCP), overload protection (OLP), brownout protection, and VDD under voltage lockout (UVLO). It also provides latching shutdown mode protection, including fixed/adjustable VDD over-voltage protection (OVP), over-temperature protection (OTP), and output over-voltage protection.
OB2276 is packaged in SOP8.
