The MT29F2G08 is a 2Gb NAND Flash memory device. It contains 2,048 blocks. Each block is divided into 64 programmable pages. Each page consists of 2,112 bytes. The pages are divided into a 2,048-byte data storage region with a separate 64-byte area.
Micron NAND Flash devices include an asynchronous data interface for high-performance I/O operations. These devices use a highly multiplexed 8-bit bus (I/Ox) to transfer commands, addresses, and data. Five control signals are used to implement the asynchronous data interface: CE#, CLE, ALE, WE#, and RE#. Additional signals control hardware write protection and monitor device status (R/B#).
MT29F2G08 is a 2Gb NAND flash chip for S19, T17+ control board.
