TL431CDR adjustable shunt regulator with specified thermal stability. The output voltage can be set to any value between Vref (approximately 2.5V) and 36V, using two external resistors. The typical output impedance of this device is 0.2R. The active output circuit provides very steep turn-on characteristics, making this device an ideal replacement for Zener diodes in many applications, such as on-board regulation, adjustable power supplies, and switching power supplies. In addition, the low output drift with temperature changes ensures good stability over the entire temperature range.
