Replacement iron tip for 936 series station for 900M, 933, 376, 907, 913, 951, 898D, 852D+
Professional grade material made of high-quality oxygen-free copper environmentally friendly soldering iron tip, high-temperature resistance, more suitable for high melting point lead-free soldering.
Type B (conical):
Features: Type B soldering iron head is non-directional, and the whole soldering iron head can be welded.
Application: Suitable for general soldering, no matter the size of the solder joint, B-type soldering iron can be used.
Type C (beveled cylinder):
Features: Welding with the inclined part of the tip of the soldering iron, suitable for welding with a large amount of tin.
Scope of application: It is suitable for welding machines that require a large amount of tin, such as large welding areas, thick terminals, and large pads.
Type K (blade shape):
Features: Blade-type parts are used for welding, vertical welding, or drawing welding can be used for multiple purposes in one machine.
Application: Suitable for SOJ.PLCC.SOP.QFP. Power supplies, grounding components, solder bridges, connectors, etc.
Maintenance Tips:
1: Try to use low-temperature welding High temperature will accelerate the oxidation of the soldering iron tip and reduce the service life of the soldering iron tip. If the tip temperature exceeds 470°C, the oxidation rate is twice that of 380°C.
2: Choose low activity flux
Highly reactive or corrosive fluxes can accelerate the corrosion of the soldering iron when heated, so a low corrosive flux should be used.
3: Always keep the tin on the tip of the soldering iron
This reduces the chance of oxidation of the tip and makes the tip more durable. After use, new solder should be added after the temperature of the soldering iron tip is slightly lower, so that the tinned layer has a better anti-oxidation effect.
4: Don't apply too much pressure
When soldering, do not apply too much pressure, otherwise, the tip of the soldering iron will be damaged and deformed. As long as the tip of the soldering iron makes sufficient contact with the solder joint, heat can be transferred. Also, choose the right tip to help with heat transfer.
5: Keep the tip clean and instantly clean the oxide
If there is black oxide on the tip, the tip may not be tinned. At this point, it must be cleaned immediately. When cleaning, first adjust the temperature of the soldering iron tip to about 250°C, then clean the soldering iron tip with a cleaning wire sponge, and then apply tin. This action is repeated until the oxide is removed.
